1. Information We Collect

When you use RoadResQ, we collect information you provide directly — your name, phone number, email address, vehicle details, and service location — as well as information generated by your use of the platform, such as booking history, GPS location during an active job, photographs you attach to a request, payment records, and communications with providers or our support team.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to dispatch and complete service requests, match you with nearby verified providers, process payments, provide live job tracking, verify operator and workshop documentation, improve our services, and communicate with you about bookings, support requests, and important account updates.

3. Location Data

Live GPS location is collected only while a booking is active, so that providers can reach you and you can track their arrival. You can disable location access in your device settings, though this may limit dispatch accuracy.

4. Photos, Camera and Documents

Parts of RoadResQ ask you for photographs. You can attach pictures of your vehicle and its condition when you raise a tow or repair request, and operators and workshops upload licences, permits, registration papers and job-completion photographs so that we can verify them. An image reaches us in one of two ways: you take it with your camera at the moment you are asked for it, or you choose an existing picture through the photo picker built into your device. We receive only the images you choose, never your wider photo library.

These images are stored securely and used to identify your vehicle, to document its condition before and after a job, to verify provider credentials, and to resolve disputes. Photographs attached to a booking are visible to the provider assigned to that job and to our support team. You can decline camera or photo access in your device settings; the rest of the app continues to work, but you will not be able to attach images.

5. Sharing of Information

We share booking details (name, location, vehicle information, and contact number) with the provider assigned to your job. We do not sell your personal information. We may share data with payment processors, identity-verification services, and legal authorities where required by law.

6. Data Security

We protect your data using industry-standard encryption in transit and at rest, access controls, and regular security reviews. No system is perfectly secure, so we encourage you to use a strong password and keep your account credentials private.

7. Your Rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time by contacting our support team. We retain booking and payment records only as long as required for operational, legal, and accounting purposes.
